12/20/2023 0 Comments 2002 saturn l300 coolant symbolNow, what do I do about this stupid PCM blinking my coolant warning light constantly? I'm thinking pull the led from behind dash? black tape over light? LOL I really don't feel like replacing PCM now. I baught a 2005 元00 for my wife that I have to this day. If more water is added to raise the coolant level to keep the light off, you can leave it this way or remove. The coolant low level light turning on and turning off after the engine warms up a little would suggest coolant is expanding to raise the float higher hence the light turning off. The Saturn L-series L-100 was done after 2003, the L200 and L-300 were done in 2005. Try adding coolant or water above the fill line and see. Fall of 2009 or 2010 don’t remember exactly. I worked for Saturn from January 2004 until they were closed. I stopped by local Saturn dealer and Mechanic confirmed a few things for me after a good look under the hoodġ) My model 96 SL2 does not have a level sensor, hence the plug in bottom of reservoirĢ) The only coolant sensor is the temp sensor on end of block witch feeds the PCMģ) The low coolant/high temp light in dash notifies of 3 major conditions: a) high temperature automatic tranny fluid b) Low coolant level c) high coolant temperatureĤ) I am running a 96 manual tranny, so only one of those conditions are valid c) high coolant temperatureĥ) Since warning light kicks in just after the PCM startup sequence, but the motor is still ice cold, the suggestion is that I have a bad PCM!!!! First person is wrong so is second, stop reading after that. Steering is linear and communicative, though it may feel heavy at low speeds. The sensor is in the bottom of the purge tank (bottle) and may be of the float and magnet type.If this is the case the magnet may have come detached and on the bottom of the tank causing a low coolant light. These midsize Saturns corner with confidence and modest body lean. Opel-derived suspension tuning pays off in impressive high-speed stability. Check engine light is on, I have scanned it and has a code of P0128 'Coolant thermostat- Coolant Temp read more. (Just checked Richpin's Youtube video on replacing the knock sensor to verify.) But those are both in the block not the head. A reasonably accomplished performer, the L-Series is distinguished by fine handling. 2003 Saturn 元00: Check engine light.scanned. If you mean in the engine block just to the right of the starter, isn't that the crank position sensor (CPS)? And further right on my car ('98 DOHC) are two sensors, I think the right (and lower) one is the oil pressure sensor and the other is the knock sensor.
